So as you may have guessed it wasn't to be at the Publican Awards on Wednesday night in London. Huge congratulations to all the category winners on the night, including Molly Mcs who pipped us at the post for Best New Build Site.
A cracking night out was had by the whole team and there were more than a few fuzzy heads the next day. TBH, we were all so chuffed just to be a part of it, being able to represent the little independent pubs on the big stage.
A huge thank you to our owner, Bruce Ashmore, for taking a leap of faith and investing the time and money into bringing the Mitre into the 21st century, ultimately creating a pub that is truly the jewel in Glastonbury's crown. Thank you also to all of our staff and suppliers, past and present who have helped to grow our fledgling bar and restaurant into the go-to venue in town. We couldn't have done it without you and each and everyone of you should give yourself a hearty pat on the back.
And finally, a huge thank you to all our epic customers. Without your amazing support, we wouldn't be here doing what we do. Here's to a fantastic summer and beyond ............. 😍
