🐝🍯 Calling All Local Beekeepers! 🍯🐝

We have some lovely space available in our orchard and would love to find a local beekeeper interested in keeping their hives here! 🌳🍎

We're happy to offer the space rent-free in exchange for an agreed share of the honey produced, which we'd love to jar up and offer for sale to guests staying at our holiday accommodation! 🍯🏡

We think it would be a lovely little addition for our guests to be able to take home some honey produced right here on the property, while the bees help pollinate our fruit trees! 🌸🐝

We're looking for someone who would be happy to manage and maintain their own hives, with an arrangement that benefits us both.

If you're a local beekeeper who might be interested, or know someone who would be, please get in touch!

🚜🐾 Move over Farmer JT… there’s a new tractor-driving team on the farm! 😂❤️

Farmer JT’s cousin Olivia is staying with us for the weekend, and it looks like our newest little pup, Murphy, has taken it upon himself to show her the ropes! 🐶🚜

Apparently, Murphy already knows everything there is to know about driving tractors… although we’re not entirely convinced he can reach the pedals! 🤣🐾

With Murphy supervising from the passenger seat, Olivia is in very capable paws! ❤️

Never a dull moment on the farm, especially when family and four-legged helpers get involved! 🥰

We are delighted to announce the opening of reservations for The Living Memories Orchard, a very special new addition to our family-owned land at East Street Farm, West Pennard, within the Applebarn Holidays country cottages estate.
Nestled in the peaceful Somerset countryside, with breathtaking views towards Glastonbury Tor, our orchard will offer a tranquil place to visit, reflect and remember.
Each dedicated fruit tree will grow and blossom through the seasons, creating a living tribute that can be enjoyed for years to come.
🌳 A LIMITED COLLECTION OF JUST 16 MEMORIAL TREES
We have carefully chosen a small selection of fruit trees for our first planting in February 2027:
🍎 6 Apple trees
🍐 4 Pear trees
🍒 3 Cherry trees
🌿 3 Plum trees
Each tree dedication is £395, which includes:
🌿 Your chosen fruit tree, aged 1–2 years at planting
🌿 A beautifully personalised engraved remembrance plaque

🌿 The opportunity to visit your tree by prior arrangement
