Fantastic exhibition at Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries. Ash Rise Lifts Off. Beautiful exhibits crafted out of timber felled as a result of ash dieback. You immediarely want to touch them but of course it's not allowed. Gracefield is a fantastic Art Gallery with ever changing exhibitions - plus craft shop and cafe. Come and stay at The Flat - there's alway plently to see and do.

This is a willow catkin, zoomed in so you can get a good look at its soft, fluffy texture.
