HEN PARTY HEAVEN

Hen parties are our favourite type of booking . We LOVED hosting this group of hens with organiser Laura pulling out all the stops. The sun shone (amazing for February) and the girls enjoyed the , a dinner, making and a pizzaparty - all provided by sister company .

Mill End is a medieval property in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire with themed kitchens and a wonderfully well equipped kitchen and cocktail bar.

She grows many of the ingredients in her own organic garden, planting biodynamically. Her products and packaging are truly ethical and better than that, are all divine. She has kits for make-your-own salves and balms - great for hen parties - and we particularly love her facial tea steam. Spot the vintage Chinese tea pot and small cups for holding small amounts of the tea under your chin or cheeks. A great facial revive.

Hey. Did you know? Unlike a lot of large holiday homes, we LOVE . They’re our favourite type of booking.

Mill End is a large medieval house with two large kitchens (three if you include the private catering kitchen). The main kitchen caters for and seats up to 40 guests and the second kitchen downstairs is set up predominantly for baking and cocktails, with mini and a 3 door drinks chiller. Everything you need for a party.

You can hire the house and do your own thing. Just add people! Or you can have us co-host and help you plan and theme your . Or we offer our ever popular Ten for £10 - a itinerary of ten meals, activities, cocktails and entertainment all shopped, prepped and laid out for you. You don’t have to do a thing. At just £100 per guest, it is remarkable value.

Our favourite from the range by - soon to be the biggest vineyard in the UK, and right on our doorstep! The wines and fizzes are to die for. This light sparkling rose was the perfect accompaniment to individual - though maybe they should have been called etontidy!

Buttler in the buff art class. Our resident buttler played a fab game I’ve never seen him do before. He asked the girls to draw symbols of what they did for a living (next to their charcoal drawings of him) and he had to guess. While still casually sitting stark bo***ck naked. And do you know? He was 100% correct with all 22 girls. Must be psychic!
