We’re still so excited about our newly announced natural swimming pool here at The Roost Retreats.

Imagine it’s a summer evening. You’ve finished work, packed up the car, and now you, your favourite person, and your little pup are on your way to spend a couple of nights in a dog friendly cottage with a natural swimming pool 🥹

The pool will be open from 3rd July, alongside the launch of our new dog friendly cottage, The Dovecot.

And yes, the pool is available to all Roost Retreats guests, with each retreat receiving two complimentary 45 minute slots per day ❤️

Over 2 years in the making… our new natural swimming pool is arriving this summer ⭐️

Over the last year, we’ve been working away behind the scenes, continuing to develop The Roost Retreats and make it even more special for our guests.

And now we’re so excited to finally share our natural swimming pool, opening on 3rd July alongside The Dovecote.

The perfect place to cool off on warm summer days and spend even more time outdoors.

Is there any better feeling than being away somewhere on a random weekday knowing everyone else is probably answering emails, on Zoom calls… while you’re in an outdoor bath with a coffee?

I would say that’s a top 5 feeling 🤷‍♀️

We get lots of questions all the time asking what the setting is like at The Roost Retreats. Is it quiet? Will it be calming for my dog?

What a privilege it is to be able to take my pup on holiday with me 🥰

There is so much joy in going somewhere new, making memories, and knowing your dog is right there beside you, exploring, settling in, and loving it just as much as you are.

There’s nothing quite like watching them live their best life, and not feeling that familiar anxiety of leaving them behind.

That’s exactly why we make sure our cabins are as dog friendly as possible. Because for us, a holiday is never complete without the dog.

Nothing lights me up more than enjoying time away and looking to my side to see my pup also having the time of their life.

Dog have an average of twelve summers…take them with you 🙏

Both of our cabins are dog friendly with secure gardens so you can truly relax, and they can roam safely. We’ve thought of all the little touches to make you and them feel more than welcome.

On your cabin doorstep there are woodland walks, wildflower meadows, and lots of very lovely dog friendly pubs and attractions nearby.

After all, the best memories are the ones shared… with your favourite person and your four legged best friend.
