The Edward Hotel is a short ten minute stroll to Kingsholm. The same distance away is the city centre, railway station and bus station. The Edward Hotel is the only city centre hotel with a private car park.

From the front door turn left, turn right after 300m into Alvin Street then turn right and Gloucester Rugby Club is straight in front of you. The road outside the ground will be closed to traffic creating a pedestrian area where there will be a number of food stalls. There are bars inside the ground as well as three good pubs opposite the ground. Assuming the weather will be fine there should be a party atmosphere matching or bettering the Cup matches against Munster and Ulster.
