🚂 **HISTORY RETURNS TO SHARPNESS: PASSENGER TRAINS ARE BACK!** 🚂
Next weekend, we are incredibly proud to support the Vale of Berkeley Railway (VoBR) as they achieve a monumental milestone for our local heritage.
For the first time in 62 years, **the historic Sharpness branch line will reopen to passengers!**
🥇 To mark the 150th anniversary of the route, pioneer passengers will once again ride the line from Friday, July 31st, to Sunday, August 2nd, departing right next door from Oldminster Sidings. 🚂

⚠️ **Passenger Information:**
All patrons of the railway trips with booked tickets will need to park at the **lower camping field at the Sharpness Sports and Social Club**.
Once parked, please check in at the Club to collect your tickets. 🎟️
While you wait, take advantage of our delicious refreshments—including a great selection of drinks and hot and cold food available throughout the day 🍱 —before taking your allocated bus to the sidings station.
🚉 All instructions and directions will be clearly marked out for visitors arriving throughout the weekend, so you will know exactly where to go!
🍳 **THE OFFICIAL HUB: FOOD & DRINK ALL WEEKEND!** 🍻
To ensure everyone is fed, watered, and ready for this historic event, the Club will be opening its doors early!
**On Friday and Saturday, we will be open from 9:00 AM** ⏰
Serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
🚂 On **Sunday**, while we won't be open for breakfast, should visitors want to indulge in our ever-popular, delicious Sunday roast with all the trimmings, it will of course be on offer!
However, as this is an extra special weekend, ‼️ **bookings for Sunday lunch are highly advisable** to avoid disappointment.
Whether you are partaking in the railway event, or you are part of our amazing community of regular customers, committee team, and members alike—come on down, grab a bite, and soak up the atmosphere of a truly special weekend!

You can’t celebrate a 62-year milestone without a proper get-together! We have lined up some excellent evening entertainment to kick off the celebrations in style. 🥳
🇯🇲 On **Friday night**, we are thrilled to host a very special Old-School Reggae & Ska set from **Mix Master Morris**.
Due to the fact we have a very special and well-regarded DJ in our midst, a professional PA system has been specially drafted in to ensure the night is swinging in full effect! It’s going to be a fantastic atmosphere to raise a glass to the VoBR.
**THE WEEKEND DETAILS:**
🚂 **VoBR Railway Opening:** Friday, July 31 – Sunday, August 2
🚗 **Passenger Parking & Check-in:** Park at the Club's lower camping field, check in to collect tickets, and enjoy hot/cold food and drinks before taking your allocated bus to the station. (Signage will be provided!)
🍔 **Friday & Saturday Food:** Open from 9:00 AM serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
🥩 **Sunday Food:** Our famous Sunday roast with all the trimmings! (No breakfast service; bookings highly advisable!)
🎶 **Friday Night Music:** Mix Master Morris (Special Reggae/Ska Set)
🕢 **Friday Doors:** 7:30 PM
🎟️ **Friday Entry:** £8 per person, payable on the door (wristbands provided upon entry)!
