Fancy a weekend away in Goathland with a murder to solve?

Our Murder Mystery Weekend is almost fully booked, with just four rooms remaining for Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November.

Join us at Mallyan Spout Hotel for Gin & Sin, an evening of mystery, suspicion and unexpected twists, accompanied by a three-course dinner.

The founder of the Mystery Gin Co. has disappeared on an adventure, leaving his family in charge. But what should be a celebration soon takes a rather sinister turn.

As the evening unfolds, you'll need to listen carefully, question the suspects and work out who you can trust. Will you uncover the truth before the night is over?

Make a weekend of it!

Choose between a one- or two-night stay, with breakfast included, and enjoy some time exploring Goathland and the North York Moors before the mystery begins.

Your Saturday evening includes:
• A welcome gin cocktail
• A delicious three-course dinner
• Interactive Murder Mystery entertainment

From Friday 23rd October, you can once again enjoy your own cosy spot in the gardens of the Mallyan Spout Hotel in Goathland.

Settle in, get comfortable and spend a couple of hours catching up over lunch, afternoon tea or dinner, whether you're staying the night at the Mallyan Spout Hotel or enjoying a day out in Goathland.

🍽️ Choose from our Bar Menu or Afternoon Tea (Mon-Sat, 12-2:30pm)
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Up to 8 guests per pod
⏰ Your pod is yours for 2 hours
💷 £25 pod hire fee

👀 Take a closer look at our Bar Menu, served Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 8.30pm, and Sunday from 5pm to 8.30pm in the Spout Bar.

From Friday 23rd October 2026 until Sunday 3rd January 2027, you can also enjoy this menu in one of our four private dining pods, which offer a wonderfully different way to enjoy a meal in Goathland.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Bar Staff to join our team.
What you’ll be doing:
• Greeting guests and creating a fantastic first impression
• Take drink and food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation behind the bar.
• A positive, can-do attitude and great people skills
• Someone reliable, well-presented, and enthusiastic
• Previous hospitality experience is a bonus – but not essential
• A genuine passion for great service and attention to detail
