Join us for a beautifully curated creative escape at Saltmarshe Hall, in collaboration with Hens with Pens
This curated day begins with a guided two-hour painting session where you will be led step-by-step to create your own canvas masterpiece.
Or
In the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to try out life-drawing, with gentle instruction and plenty of encouragement throughout the session.
And, of course, it wouldn't be a Saltmarshe event without delicious food and drinks. Tickets include a two-course lunch and three summer-inspired drinks.

Saltmarshe Hall isn’t just a beautiful place to stay, it’s a house with centuries of stories woven into its walls.

Dating back to the early 18th century, Saltmarshe Hall was built as a Georgian country house, designed to impress. Over the years, it became home to generations of the Saltmarshe family, whose name the Hall still proudly carries today.

Like many great houses, it has seen changing fortunes before being lovingly restored and reimagined by the Whyte Family. Today, its historic bones remain firmly intact: grand staircases, refined proportions and that unmistakable sense of old-world charm, now paired with modern luxury and hospitality.

Staying here feels less like checking into a hotel and more like stepping into a living chapter of English country-house history, where the past isn’t frozen in time, but gently brought to life.
