I thought it best to repost this message regarding our changes here Apple Blossom Caravan & Camping Park, it seems to have caused a lot of confusion. I hope this helps 🥰
From 12th June, our beautiful site will switch to Pay As You Go Electric for all NEW bookings.
For the avoidance of doubt, as there has been some confusion all existing bookings will remain exactly as booked, including our fair-use electric policy.
For all NEW bookings from 12th June onwards, electric will be charged on a pay-as-you-go basis.
As many of you will have noticed, our nightly tariff has also been reduced. Our direct booking rate has been lowered from £35.00 per night to £31.50 per night. Pitch up has been lowered too.
The electricity rate is published on our website & will follow our provider rate & card user rate.
Having reviewed comments and discussions regarding campsite electric usage and costs on various forums, we feel that a reduction of £3.50 per night is a fair adjustment, leaving most guests in a favourable position whilst helping us manage energy costs more sustainably.
Anyone who has stayed at Apple Blossom knows that we are not, by any means, a ‘greedy’ business. We are a small family-run site, and as we continue to grow, there are times when changes need to be made to ensure we can move forward responsibly.
🚫 Please note: Charging electric vehicles from pitch hook-ups Still remains strictly prohibited - it damages the main fuse board causing serious problems 🚫
We are also investing in the future of the site, with the installation of security barrier gates currently underway, helping us provide a safer and more secure environment for all our guests.
