💜 Happy Volunteers' Week 2026! 💜

This week, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to the incredible volunteers who make Waddecar Scout Activity Centre such a special place.

Whether you're delivering unforgettable adventures as an Activity Instructor, welcoming guests as a Warden, keeping the site running as part of our Crew, supporting projects with the Midweek Team, or serving visitors with a smile in the Shop Team, your time, energy and dedication make a real difference.

Every campfire lit, every activity delivered, every building maintained, every visitor welcomed and every young person inspired is only possible because of volunteers like you.

Thank you for giving your time, sharing your skills and helping us create experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime. You are the heart of Waddecar, and we couldn't do it without you.

Our High Ropes Leader Training Courses are back at Waddecar… and they’re not for the faint-hearted 🌲⚡

This hands-on course will give you the skills and confidence to safely run sessions on our High Ropes Tower – from belaying to managing groups at height.

⚠️ Pre-requisite:
You’ll need extensive belaying experience or a Scout Climbing Permit
