On Saturday 24th January, the Castle gates will open for A Winter’s Table; an intimate evening of candlelit dining within the ancient walls of Borthwick Castle.

Guests will experience a six-course winter tasting menu by Head Chef Craig Gibb, celebrating Scotland’s larder through refined technique and thoughtful storytelling. Optional wine pairings are available, alongside a limited number of overnight stay experiences for those wishing to extend the evening.

We are delighted to invite you to A Winter’s Table, the first Borthwick Castle Dining Experience of 2026, taking place on Saturday 24th January.

Set within the ancient walls of our historic castle-keep, this intimate evening offers a refined journey through Scotland’s winter larder. Guests will enjoy a six-course tasting menu crafted by Head Chef Craig Gibb, celebrating seasonality, and thoughtful technique. Optional wine pairings are available to complement each course.

For those wishing to extend the experience, a limited number of overnight stay packages are available, inclusive of dinner for two, luxury accommodation, and full Scottish breakfast the following morning.
