Privately owned and personally cared for by the Hicks family, we pride ourselves in maintaining a clean, friendly and efficiently run park. All our pitches are large and well maintained, clearly divided with hedging and shrubs to ensure there is no over crowding, giving you your own individual space. Some pitches are "awning friendly" gravel hard standings and all of the pitches have 10amp electric hook-ups.

February Update!

The momentum hasn't slowed down for a second! After a grueling January of heavy lifting, February has been all about the craftsmanship and the finishing touches. We are seeing months of hard work finally transition from "construction site" to "holiday ready."

Here is the latest:

🐕 The Dog-Friendly Revolution Continues

The Sun Terrace: The granite paving has been expertly pointed and is looking sharp.

The New Porch: Construction on the new entrance to the dog friendly dining room is complete! We are just waiting on the custom glass and railings to add that final touch of elegance.

Dining Room: The slate floor is now fully grouted, and the new furniture has been moved in. It’s looking cozy, stylish, and ready for you to pull up a chair.

🛁 Introducing: The Purpose-Built Dog Wash
We didn't stop at the dining room. Across the courtyard, we’ve been busy building a brand-new feature—a dedicated dog wash station! No more muddy paws; this custom-built facility is going to be a game-changer for owners (and much-appreciated by the pups!).

🏊 Poolside Progress
The storm damage from last month is officially a thing of the past. The replacement fencing around the swimming pool is nearly there—we’re just down to the final task of installing the white posts to give it that clean, signature look.

🚿 Wet Room Refinement
The precision work in the wet rooms is reaching the finish line. The granite walls have been grouted, and the team is currently hard at work reinstalling all the bathroom fixtures and fittings. The transformation from stripped-back shells to luxury facilities is almost complete.

A lot of work as always! However, we are absolutely loving seeing it all come together!

🔨 January Update!

We haven’t just been "busy"— The team has been working through wind, rain, and storms to ensure the park is better than ever for the 2026 season.

Here is what we’ve achieved in the last 30 days:

🚿 The Wet Room Overhaul
We kicked off the year by completely stripping the wet rooms. Every fixture and fitting was removed to make way for our stunning new granite-hung walls.

Next up: Sealing the slabs, grouting, and reinstalling the shower screens and mirrors.

🌲 Storm Recovery
When Storm Goretti hit, it left its mark. The tree surgeons were on-site the very next morning, working hard to clear the fallen trees and ensure the park grounds are safe and beautiful once again.

🏗️ Infrastructure Upgrades
Behind the scenes at the Park Shop, we’ve been digging deep. We’ve successfully installed a brand-new power supply and drainage line.

🏊 Poolside Repairs
Storm Goretti also claimed the fence near our pool table and table tennis areas. That’s been cleared away, and we are prepping the site for a fresh replacement.

🐾 The Ultimate Dog-Friendly Experience
We are putting a massive amount of effort into our new pet-friendly spaces:

Dining Room: The new slate floor has been laid (and it looks incredible).

Sun Terraces: Granite paving is currently being laid, along with a new ramp into the dining room. Just outside a new sofa terrace is being prepared.

To wrap up a marathon month, our delivery of premium artificial grass has arrived! We’ll be installing this across various pitches to give you that perfect finish underfoot.

Winter Update!

Firstly Happy New Year! The last 3 months, as usual, have been filled with lots of activity around the park with our winter projects!

At reception we have tweaked the size to make room for a new store next door. Why do we need a new store? Well we've been busy converting our old store into another indoor dinning area. This new dinning area is also dog friendly! Located right next to the dog friendly terraces. Still lots to complete but really wanted you to show you the progress. The wallpaper mural was a photo taken near Fowey. Furniture is due towards the end of January and we still need to lay a floor!

Out on the park we've been installing the water and electric hookups along with new hedging to pitches 49 to 53. This month we will install the artificial grass inlay and then these pitches will be ready to go for 2026!

Lots of changes still to show you but you'll have to wait for the next update!

Throwback Thursday!

We go all the way back to early 1997 with the initial development of the pitches.

In these old shots we've cut all the roads out, ready for hardcore, installed wooden pitch dividers and planted around 50 trees. After these shots were taken trenching began to run the armoured cables around the park for the electric hook-ups just in time to open for our first season on 15th May 1997.

Funny enough I do remember that photo being taken of me - I can only guess I must have just taken delivery of that particular mower!

Throwback Thursday!

Talk about a glow-up! ✨ You're looking at the heart of Tregarton — Our Reception, Park Shop, Takeaway, Poolside Bar, and Cafe!

It's hard to believe this entire structure was once just an old barn! 🤯

We tackled this MASSIVE project back in the 2011/12 winter season. After taking the old roof off, it took us a whole 3 weeks just to grade the slate tiles to put them back on! Talk about dedication by the roofers! 🛠️

2013: Our first outdoor terrace was born! ☀️

2016: Hello, Poolside Bar! We started serving up delicious food and drinks! 🍹

2017 & 2018: We made it PUP-TASTIC with our dog-friendly outdoor terraces! 🐾

2025: The grand opening of our new indoor food & drink area! 🥳

And the story doesn't end there...
We've been busy working on something for next season! You won't have to wait long to see what we're adding for 2026! 😉

We've received some brilliant news from Campsites.co.uk - We have been crowned the Overall UK Winner and the South West Regional Winner for "Best Caravan Park" in their Camping & Glamping Awards.

An incredible recognition we’ve now earned for the third year in a row!

We couldn't have done it without our wonderful guests and hard working staff. Thank you for helping to make our park the very best place to stay.

Throwback Thursday!

The Swimming Pool. The pool was built in 1985. Our first change, after buying the park in November 1996, was to build a new wall around the pool for safety.

From 1998 until 2012 we have replaced the coping stones on the pool edge, tiled the walls and floor of the pool, replaced the paving within the pool complex and built decking terraces.

From 2013 until 2019 we completed a total renovation of the pool with new large parasols, granite paving, granite coping stones, replaced all the pipework to the pool and built a new plant room and changing rooms!

Over a quarter of a century to create the perfect place for you to relax, play and enjoy a cocktail or two!

Throwback Thursday!

Our shop from 1997 until 2011. The first barn converted some 29 years ago! We're not finished with this barn yet! We all know the launderette has been in half this barn since 2015 - Keep your eyes peeled for the update posts regarding the new facility in the other half, ready for 2026!
