Fascinating history walk with St Goran Old Cornwall Society as part of St Ewe Feast - a nearby village. We learned about the thousands of years of history in our area, its deep agricultural roots and how Cornwall has been at the centre of international trade for centuries. There’s so much history to explore in our area and we’re always learning. So if you’re staying with us and have questions about our area please ask us and we’ll hopefully find the answer! And if you’re looking into family roots in Cornwall we’re a great base for exploring the whole county.

The view over Veryan Bay above Hemmick Beach from our lane in evening light is gorgeous. You can see far away down the Roseland Peninsula as you contemplate more quiet beaches to explore and coast paths to hike. Where will you go?

Thank you Falmouth University photography students for staying with us this week. It was great to welcome you here. has flexible spaces that are great for project work. Our dining room can also be used as a classroom or screening room. There’s much to explore here for students of other subjects too - geology, geography, art and more.
