SCAM WARNING - I have today been made aware by another Airbnb owner that there is somebody operating a fake site having cloned pictures of our accommodations from Airbnb. Please be very careful when making a booking and feel free to check here first.

Somebody has been very busy building a perfect nest in the shower at the Hoot. I would love to leave them but if you were staying, would it bother you to take a shower with the baby birds? No eggs yet!!

It’s a chilly and blustery day but we’ve been super cosy in The Hoot whilst getting everything ready for our first guests of the season next week.

We are due to close THE HOOT next weekend for the winter but will release more dates on air BnB if the weather is mild....

We are lucky to have a fantastic butchers Springfield Farm Daventry nearby for all your bbq needs if you are coming to stay. There’s also lots of interesting antiquities and bits and pieces next door to Springfield Farm .

If you don’t feel like cooking Essence Of Indian Restaurant is based at our local pub , The Shoulder Of Mutton Grandborough,and will be happy to deliver!
