It’s been a while since we posted on our Facebook site. I am pleased to say that it is because since the easing of lockdown we have been exceptionally busy and it is lovely to see guests both new and regulars coming to stay with us.

We are working with a website developer on our new website and hope to have that finished soon.

We had a fantastic family day out at Cartmel races on May Bank Holiday Monday. I must say was really well organised and our family had a lovely day in the Lakes sunshine! Photos below 😀

Well we are all looking forward to June 21st! The end of lockdown is coming! Meanwhile, Cosy in Cartmel can welcome back visitors to our self catering accommodation from April 12th - all being well. We cannot accept visitors before that date.

We already have lots of bookings in the Cosy calendar for 2021 and all the race weekends have been pre booked except for the July Cartmel race meet when we do have some availability. We will post as we know more about the meetings and what Cartmel has in store for visitors in 2021.

Please do contact us if you have any dates you are interested in and we will see what we can do to help.

Hi everyone. 2020 was a year that is best left behind. 2021 is beginning to more likely in being to get back to some kind of ‘new normal’, although when is still not clear at the moment.
Meanwhile we have been working on developing a new Cosy in Cartmel website with better functionality and online booking and payment system. We hope that will be up and running very soon.
Meanwhile we will let you know when we can welcome you back to beautiful Cartmel.

Hi everyone. Adrian and I hope you and your families have stayed safe and well throughout the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Cartmel is opening up again. Our pubs and shops are welcoming visitors back in a safe environment.
The good news is that we are able to take bookings from today. We wish to reassure all our visitors that we have a strict cleaning regime that includes attention to all those extra details like door handles, keys and all vertical flat surfaces. We also have gaps between bookings of at least 3 days to allow for washing, cleaning and ventilation.
So you are aware and can plan - tea, coffee, sugar, condiments and cooking oils will not be provided so guests should bring their own. We have also removed all magazines and anything else that can’t be cleaned.

If you are looking for a cosy South Lakeland retreat for a few nights, think of Cosy in Cartmel. Although we have quite a few bookings already we may be able to help.
No deposit is required so no cancellation risk

Hello to all our followers and guests past and present. Adrian and I hope you are keeping safe during the lockdown.
We are continuing to abide by the lockdown rules and are not accepting bookings currently. Anyone who has a forward bookings will be contacted by us at least a week before the due date so that we can update in relation to latest advice which is currently essential travel only. Unfortunately folks Cartmel is out of bounds for the moment but we will keep you updated as things change
