The view is changing a little bit, the ash tree has ash die back so a good trim back to healthy wood should hopefully keep it going, the hedge has been cleared of all the bramble and Ivy that was choking it, once it's cleared I will plant new whips to fill in the gaps, it seems very bare but much lighter.

A busy day at Henry’s, a new roof on the Gazebo, weeding, mowing. A nice cup of tea with lovely guests who love Henry’s so much they are returning in September!

The many delights of Henry's Retreat, hares grazing in the paddock, the Red Arrows flying by ( not the best photo as I wasn't quick enough! But it's definitely them!) The gardens looking beautiful in the sunshine which has finally appeared, happy days 😊

Finally A beautiful day!! The maintenance team have been in this morning, Patio jet washed and looking much better. Sadly only a couple of nice days then we must brace ourselves for storm Kennedy heading our way next Friday ☔

Well I had great plans for projects over the winter, thanks to the weather all projects are on hold for the Autumn, finally managed to mow the lawns today and do a little weeding, the only benefit of wet ground is that they pull up easily 😄 a beautiful end to the day though
