The Pines House

The Pines House It occupies an idyllic location on the edge of Grantown on Spey in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.

The Pines House is a large ten bedroom Victorian villa, accommodating twenty people, which is available all year round for self catered holidays and short breaks. Town amenities are only a short walk away yet the house immediately backs onto the beautiful 'Thousand Acre' Anagach Woods, where guests can enjoy a variety of walking routes. The house offers a secluded and peaceful environment in which

to relax and unwind, set against a backdrop of outstanding natural beauty. The house blends traditional features with modern facilities to provide the best mix of comfort and period charm. The drawing room's grand fireplace and wood paneled bay window is a wonderful place to relax. The newly fitted kitchen and family room has created a large area for socialising whilst preparing meals.

Very sadly we've just learned that our Easter guests, who were due to arrive on the afternoon of Fri 3rd April, have had to cancel due to a family illness. If, by any miracle, someone is looking for a 10 bedroom holiday house for the week (or even a few days over the holidays), it's (almost) all ready for you.

Happy Easter

Due to a cancellation, our Christmas 2025 week, at The Pines House, Grantown on Spey, is still available. We are offering seven nights from Sunday 21st December, until Sunday 28th December for a fee of £6220.

I've included a selection of photos, to show you how festive the house will be on your arrival!

There is a torchlit procession in town every year, where all the wee ones can meet Santa, in a sledge pulled by reindeer. If it snows, the forest out the back gate is truly magical and offers countless walking and biking routes.

We have a very well-stocked kitchen, with fantastic new appliances and a beautiful formal dining room seating 20, so Christmas dinner shouldn't be too stressful?

We've already welcomed our lovely Christmas guests at The Pines House. However, before they arrived I managed to take a few snaps of the house looking very festive!

We thank all our guests for their custom this year and wish you all a very Happy Christmas and New Year. We hope to welcome you all back to The Pines House again soon.

So lovely of our guests to have shared some photos from their big day last Wednesday! They were so lucky with the weather, especially as their ceremony was on Findhorn Beach!

It’s not quite there yet - still to choose new lighting, but pretty pleased with our super comfy and tranquil family room…..and there was enough paint left to do the little downstairs loo!
