Going to see a new dog that's at a rescue centre and the funny thing is that his name is CJ,because our last dog was called AJ,both names were already given to then before we had them,so I guess this one's meant to be.

We've got 5 very active badgers this year and you can see them playing on the lawn in the evening.Lost mt Flatcoat Retiever ,Aj, last week so its a bit quiet at the moment,althoiugh,Brock,my Cocker Spaniel,is enjoying the extra fuss.

Music playing today is brilliant Richard Marx.can really recommend.Brian Adams tickets go on sale on the 1st, so am going to try to get some,but failed miserably for the Take That tickets,so hope I have better luck. Just booked holiday in June to go to Crete,so if anyone has any good recommendations I would be glad to hear them.

The weathers cooling off a bit now, which means I can get on with some gardening, that is if the badgers don't dig up the whole garden. It was quite exciting last night as we saw a baby badger, the first one I have ever seen, but I think that mum and dad must be digging a tunnel to the coast as the soil never stops. If you want to see them we still hve a few vacancies this week and next.

We've had a great week here in the Lakes, THE WEATHER HAS BEEN FANTASTIC,WHICH IS GREAT FOR US. THE BADGERS ARE DIGGING FRANTICALLY AT THE MOMENT, I THINK WE HAVE MOVED 6 WHEELBARROW LOADS OF SOIL AWAY SINCE MONDAY!

I have had some exciting news this week. Steve has been thinking about writing a book for a long time and now he has decided on the theme and has made a start. Not sure how long it will take but we'll keep you posted.
