If you’re not signed up to our emails, we thought we’d keep you in the loop over here too.
We were actually going to tell you about our Christmas stays last week… but you lot practically sold them out before we got the chance.
So, onto Twixmas and New Year.
Those funny few days between Christmas and New Year when nobody really knows what day it is, the Quality Streets are disappearing at an alarming rate and everyone’s getting a little bit bored of their own house.
We think they’re some of the best days to be up here.
Boots on after breakfast.
A long cold walk straight from the door.
Back in pink cheeked.
Something warm to drink.
Then dinner cooked by somebody else.
We’ve still got some Twixmas and New Year stays available across our rooms, cottages and Lookouts, so if disappearing to the Lakes for a few days sounds like your kind of thing, you can have a nosy here:

We’ve put a lot of work into teaching her all things Yan, so if you’re browsing the website and have a question, you can ask her and hopefully get the right Yan-swer.

For entertainment purposes, we’d also quite like you to help us test her sense of humour. Ask her something weird. Something ridiculous. Something we definitely didn’t think to prepare her for.
