Known by locals as the "Coke Oven" and previously the Druid's Head from 1843 - 1879, the Drayman is a comfortable and traditional ale house, steeped in history and beloved by generations of locals. Originally the brewery tap for the Wellington Brewery there has been beer flowing from the location for over 150 years and prides itself on the standard and variety of real ales on tap. There is a func
tion hall which can accommodate approximately 80 guests and 4 hotel rooms available at reasonable rates. On Sunday nights the Drayman plays host to one of the last surviving Daddlums (Kentish Skittles) teams in the area which is sure to interest the un-initiated and they welcome beginners to come and try something new.
