Known by locals as the "Coke Oven" and previously the Druid's Head from 1843 - 1879, the Drayman is a comfortable and traditional ale house, steeped in history and beloved by generations of locals. Originally the brewery tap for the Wellington Brewery there has been beer flowing from the location for over 150 years and prides itself on the standard and variety of real ales on tap. There is a func

tion hall which can accommodate approximately 80 guests and 4 hotel rooms available at reasonable rates. On Sunday nights the Drayman plays host to one of the last surviving Daddlums (Kentish Skittles) teams in the area which is sure to interest the un-initiated and they welcome beginners to come and try something new. Come and enjoy a quality pint in our low ceilinged, wooden beamed gem of a pub.

WHAT A WEEKEND IT HAS BEEN!!!

I don't think that anyone expected yesterday to be as incredible as it was but... WOW! Jolly Drayman Pub and Hotel's 2026 Beer and Music Festival has been the best yet. BUT.....IT'S NOT OVER YET!

This afternoon we welcome our old buddies Strydes to the main stage of Gravesend's best boozer.

The beer is still pouring, the sun is still shining. Eat Street is still frying the burgers and the good times are still a rollin.'

Don't miss out and come on down to the Jolly Drayman this afternoon to bear witness to a band who know a thing or two about putting on a show.

WOW! What a day and night we had yesterday at The Jolly Drayman Pub and Hotel's Beer and Music Festival. 2Oslo and The Scratch Band were exceptional.

So.....what do we have in store for you today on day 3 of the best weekend in Gravesend's social calendar?

At 15:30 we welcome back the incredible Modraphenia for their Sunday afternoon slot and then this evening who else could it be but our old mates to rock the night away.

The sun is shining, the beer is flowing, the burgers will be frying and the music will be playing.

Why, oh why would be anywhere else but The Jolly Drayman Pub and Hotel?
