September might just be our favourite month at the huts.

The school holiday rush has gone, the North York Moors are a little quieter, the walking is beautiful and the evenings are just beginning to draw in, which somehow makes sinking into your own private hot tub feel even better.

We reopen on 11 September after our short break for maintenance, and while Wren is already filling up very quickly, we still have some availability in Lapwing, Barn Owl and Hare.

If you have been promising yourselves a few peaceful days away, September is such a lovely time to come. Explore the moors during the day, then head back to the hut, pour a drink and properly switch off.

Sometimes, one hut just isn’t enough!

Some of our guests book all four shepherd huts together, giving everyone their own private space while still enjoying a break away as a group.

It is a lovely way to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary, get the family together, or simply spend a few days with lifelong friends.

We have just waved goodbye to a group who spent their stay enjoying leisurely days together, evenings on the decking and our incredible dark skies once night fell.

We have four huts, each sleeping two adults, with your own little corner of the North York Moors, all yours for your stay ☺️

We have had some absolutely wonderful Google reviews recently and, as we celebrate 6 years of our shepherd huts this week, it feels rather special to read what our guests say about staying here.

And amongst all of them … hot tubs after walking the Cleveland Way, steaks from our farm on the BBQ, birthday surprises, hampers, wildlife, amazing views and even the actual Barn Owl making an appearance outside Barn Owl hut!

Six years on, we still put an enormous amount of effort into making every stay feel special, and reviews like these make it very worthwhile.

6 years ago today we opened Incline View Holidays …..

Without all of your likes, shares, comments and bookings we wouldn’t be where we are today! Shoutout to our amazing staff (Kelly and Nina) for your incredible efforts, it doesn’t go unnoticed! The 2027 diary is officially open.

Bookings are now available for stays from January to 30th June 2027.

Delighted to share our news. Very proud of our team ❤️

We can finally share our news!

We are absolutely thrilled to have been named finalists in the 2026 British Farming Awards in the Small/Medium Diversification of the Year category.

Last year we were proud to be finalists, and to be recognised again this year in a category that really reflects what we have built at New Sheepfold Farm means so much.

With Mark still recovering from open-heart surgery and now facing another operation in just a few weeks, this really couldn’t have come at a better time. It has given us both a huge lift and reminded us why we keep doing what we do.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. Whether you have stayed in our shepherd huts, bought beef from the vending shop, visited the farm, shared our posts or simply sent us messages of encouragement, you have all played a part in this.

We now have our judging interview in August before the awards in October, but whatever happens, we are incredibly proud to be finalists.

Well... that escalated quickly!
Barn Owl seems to have become everyone’s favourite and bookings have gone a little mad. We now have just two opportunities left before the middle of September.
The first is a two-night break from 29–31 July...
If you have been promising yourselves a couple of days away this summer, now might be the perfect time.
Your own private hot tub, peaceful views across the North York Moors, beautiful walks and time to simply switch off.

Once these two nights are gone, there’s just one more short break available in Barn owl before mid-September!
