Looking for an action packed way to keep your children busy this summer holidays. Bowley activity days are a full day of indoor and outdoor adventure, led by experienced and qualified leaders in a safe, welcoming environment.
The day will consist of team games, challenges and crafts. Nature trails and high rope and target sports. Everyday is built around confidence, friendship and trying something new.
We accept HAF vouchers and even if you are not Hyndburn Authority you can get in touch with them to change so you don’t miss out.
Private bookings also being taken £27.50 per day.

What an incredible Bank Holiday weekend here at Bowley International Scout Centre!

We’ve welcomed a fantastic mix of Duke of Edinburgh’s Award participants, alongside Scouts from Burnley and Todmorden. A special shoutout goes to 1st Llangollen Scout Group, who take the prize for travelling the furthest so far this year!

A huge thank you to our brilliant instructors and volunteer team for making sure everything ran smoothly — we couldn’t do it without you.

Great energy, great people, and a fantastic weekend all round.

The Easter HAF Holiday programme at Bowley was a fantastic success! Over the holiday period, girls and boys took part in a wide range of adventurous and engaging activities, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere throughout the sessions.

Children had the opportunity to try new challenges, build confidence, and make new friends while enjoying the outdoors and staying active. From exciting adventure-based activities to team games and creative sessions, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

It was wonderful to see so many young people getting involved, supporting each other, and having fun in a safe and positive environment. The smiles, laughter, and enthusiasm from the participants made the days truly special.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the Bowley Easter HAF programme such a memorable and successful experience. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for more exciting activities in the future! Keep your eyes posted for the dates.

Great day with LANX enjoying a team building day here at Bowley.

Following a hike and treasure hunt to the site, the team got stuck into a selection of our ropes and target activities.

Fortunately the weather turned out better than we had been expecting and after a quick stop for lunch, they moved around, completing another two activities.

We've really enjoyed having you on site today and look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future!

Hope you all weren't too tired by the time you got back to Artisan Ribble Valley for a well earned drink and a bite to eat!

🌟 Easter Holiday Club – Day 1 Success! 🐣

What a fantastic start to our HAF Easter Holiday Club at Bowley International Scout Centre!

Participants had an action-packed day enjoying:

🧗 Zip wire
🏹 Archery
🎯 Crossbows
🎨 Crafts
🥕 Healthy snacks
🍽️ And of course, lunch together!

Everyone had a brilliant time, and we’re delighted that several participants have decided to book for next week’s sessions, they enjoyed yesterday so much!

We are all set to go again today (Wednesday 1st) with a whole different set of activities!

A huge thank you to Clitheroe Round Table for their generous donation which has enabled us to build a brand new shelter at Bowley Burrows today.

The shelter provides an additional covered seating area that can be used for dining and activity time, giving visitors more flexibility whatever the weather. We decided to add the shelter after several of our customers requested an additional space to complement the existing kitchen and sleeping facilities that comes with Bowley Burrows.

We’re delighted to see the project come to life so quickly, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support that made it possible.

A little bit of groundwork and lighting and furniture will be added shortly, to complete the space and make it even more welcoming for everyone who visits.

Thank you again to Clitheroe Round Table for helping us continue to improve the facilities at Bowley International Scout Centre!
