Chocolate Namelaka... deliciously indulgent smooth chocolate mousse, accompanied by vanilla cream and salted caramel, topped with a hazelnut crumble.

Best enjoyed with a large spoon and no intention to share. 🥄

✨ Meet the team: Sian ✨🍴

Anybody who has spent some time at The New Inn will be well accustomed to Sian, but let us tell you about her anyway...

Sian is one of our restaurant supervisors. She's been with us for just over 3 years so far and in that time has supported the team massively in growth and development, being a big part of the journey herself!

Sian's menu pick depends on the day, but her ideal lunch would be the chimichurri ciabatta, followed by the po***ck for dinner (or, if she's really treating herself, she'll go for the chateaubriand) - and she'll wash it down with a chardonnay, thanks!

Outside of work Sian spends most of her time with her son, Seth, playing or watching football (especially The Toon! ⚫️⚪️), but when she's here with us her favourite part of the job is helping to organise special events at The New Inn, and being part of a team that's developed so much during her time here.

Why not treat Sian to a chardonnay she can enjoy at the end of her shift? 😉

✨ Meet The Team: Phoebe ✨ 🍴

Our waitress Phoebe’s been with us since September, and over the last 8 months she’s become a really valued member of our team.

Phoebe’s menu pick is going to be the Steak Frites every time, washed down with an apple and raspberry J20 - and she’ll stick to that recommendation if you’re ever stuck on what to order.

Ask Phoebe what she enjoys most about working here and she’ll tell you it’s meeting new people and getting to work alongside her coworkers every week - but when she’s not here, she’ll gladly get cosied up with a good book or spend time with her friends.

While Oscar’s hard work happens behind the scenes, we want you to get to know him!

Oscar is one of our beloved kitchen porters, and he’s been with us for just shy of a year now, helping keep the kitchen running smoothly during the busy services.

Oscar’s recommendation is the ever-popular steak frites, but he won’t pass up a crème caramel if there’s room after. And while everyone else is reaching for a pint after work, Oscar keeps it simple with a sophisticated sparkling water.

When he’s not hard at work, you’ll often find him playing football for local legends Keelby United, in the gym, or listening to new music, but his favourite thing here at The New inn is the kitchen atmosphere; “busy when it needs to be, but always a good environment to work in.”
