l. The lounge is inviting with its relaxing colour palate, comfy sofas and a free standing modern fire for cosy nights, while watching the large wall mounted, flat screen t.v. with freeview. It also has a convenient fold out dining table/stools for dining in. The family bathroom includes a shower over bath, to please both shower and bath lovers. Both bedrooms have freeview t.v., the second bedroom with bunks also has a built-in DVD player. Both bedrooms have wall mounted heaters. The fifth bed in this chalet is a fold out bed, ideal for an extra child. The main bedroom has a wardrobe, the other has a chest of drawers and coat hangers on hooks. Electric is by a coin meter in the lounge. £1 coins accepted only. The chalet itself sits on a pretty square facing west, so you can catch the beautiful sunsets, while enjoying a glass of wine on your terrace. There is a large carpark just a few steps away from the chalet, giving easy access for unloading all your holiday luggage and in the other direction a large green space that runs around the outside of the chalet park, ideal for those family games or just a stroll. There are swings and a wonderful heated outdoor pool, for those staying on site only. Open from May 1st-15th September. There is also a heated indoor pool 'Oasis' within walking distance that opens from April 2nd, until the end of October, for those holidaying earlier or later in the season. The chalet park does not have a club which we see as a bonus, but you do not have to go far to find 'White's Lounge Bar on the entrance to the site. Here you will find great food, live music on some Sundays and Bank Holidays through the Summer. Sitting under the Palm trees and pretty lights, watching the sunset, you really get that holiday feel and just a short walk away there are 3 clubs on offer, with nightly entertainment for the whole family. In the local area you will find many good quality restaurants to suit all tastes. Across the road is one of 3 shops in the area, a scrumptious fish and chip shop and a launderette. The post office/convenience store at the top of Beach Road is open all year round and open till late all season. The idealic Scratby beach is just 300 metres from the site entrance, on route there you will pass a cafe and Scratby bakery which offers freshly made picnic packs, as well as cakes, pasties etc. At the end of Beach Road you are greeted by the cliff overlooking miles of beautiful sandy beach. Access to the beach is by a slope, making it easier for prams and children, at the top of the slope are public toilets. Continue your walk along the beach road, you will come across 'Pink Palace Amusements' and 'Cecelia's' serving delicious treats. There are other holiday sites in Scratby that have other facilities on offer, such as go-karts, crazy golf, that can be used by non-residents at a small charge. You are spoilt in this location with the wide range of local amenities and attractions close by, from more of the Norfolk coastline, pretty villages, wildlife parks and open countryside. You can see seals on the beach at Horsey Gap, there is a large childrens adventure park, 'Hirsty's which includes a maze and outdoor cinema. You can walk a small part of the coastal path along the cliff tops from Scratby to Hemsby, visit the arcades or have a bite to eat/drink. The livelier Gt Yarmouth is a 15min drive. As you enter the seaside resort you will pass the racecourse and banger/greyhound circuit. For the more tranquil pursuits the picturesque Norfolk Broads is on the doorstep, for wonderful walks or boat hire, even paddle boarding! Whether you want a traditional family holiday, a relaxing break or to explore the areas many walking trails, this location is ideal for you. My family and I have been holidaying here for over 25 years now! and we still love it as much as we did then. Hopefully our knowledge of the area and having us regularly onsite to answer any questions, will help you get the most out of your stay. Due to the Covid virus and our need to keeps guests safe, extra cleaning needs to now be completed after guests vacate, so we have had to alter changeover times accordingly. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required on booking. We take a damage deposit when the balance is paid of £100, this is refunded within 7 days of you vacating once the chalet has been checked
