Welcome to The Ladybird Guest House - Great Yarmouth. This page is still under construction, please feel free to like the page so you can keep up to date with all the photos and info as it is added. Having bought the Guesthouse just before Christmas 2016, it was important to create a lovely welcoming feel for guests. The first thing was to come up with a new name for it. It had to be something dif

ferent, unusual and quirky at the same time, and a reflection of my personality. Why The Ladybird? Well, it wasn't the typical seaside guest house name, and if it would get people's attention as well as being quite a rare name to use and easy for people to remember, then this was it. The Guesthouse will be open by Easter 2017 after it has had an extensive update and make over The location is great, being just behind The Britannia Pier, round the corner from Regent Road Shops, and town is only a few minutes walk away too. Please do get in touch with any questions you may have and to check availability and room rates. The website will be up and working shortly but do call, message or email in the meantime. Looking forward to welcoming you very very soon.

Our Story

Welcome to The Ladybird Guest House - Great Yarmouth. Originally the guest house was called Lea Hurst for many years, but the previous owners had virtually retired so there was a perfect opportunity for a clean sweep and a name change.

First things first was to think of a new name. I often get asked....Why The Ladybird? Well, it wasn't the typical seaside guest house name, and if it would get people's attention as well as being quite a rare name to use and easy for people to remember, then this was it and that is how it all began. The Guest house opened in time for Easter 2017 after it has had an extensive update and make over. After a year of being open, with no two days the same, I can honestly say it was the best decision to become the owner of The Ladybird and I hope we will be welcoming guests back for many years to come.

Looking forward to welcoming you very very soon.
