As we move towards the end of the summer season we would like to say thank you to all of the lovely guests we have had stay with us this year.

We will be open for most of the remainder of the year if anyone fancies a cheeky couple of days away at the seaside, just give us a call.

We will open next year's diary the first week of January for bookings for next Summer 🙂

First day of the summer holidays and we know it. 11.20am we have already had two sets of guests ring the doorbell. Please give us time and space to clean and be ready for 2pm, this is the earliest you can check in and the earliest we provide the parking included in your stay, if you choose to arrive early that is your decision and your responsibility. We will be happy to welcome you at 2pm but please apply the test of reasonableness to your actions by leaving us be until then and not adding unnecessary pressure.

We are aware that running a B&B is supposed to be easy, after all we just serve a bit of breakfast and then the day is ours 😉😉, in reality during the morning we are sweaty, grumpy and a bit stressed, if you come after 2pm we will have had a cool drink and recovered our equilibrium 😂😂

Our contact number has changed. Due to a problem with our landline it has now been disconnected. To contact us please use 07826 960061, you can text or Whatsapp for a general enquiry or ring between the hours of 8am and 9pm 🙂

It would appear that our landline number is being used for spoofing, this is where cold callers use legitimate numbers to mask their own, we have been receiving a lot of calls from people insistent they have had a missed call from us and there is nothing the phone providers can currently do to stop this happening.

In the last fortnight we have had two occasions where guests have booked a double room and then turned up and had multiple children with them and one occasion where a double room has been booked online and then a message sent to say there will be a child that will sleep in the double bed with said guests. Just to be clear to anyone looking at booking, we welcome children of all ages but they must be booked within the numbers that can be accommodated within rooms - one person per bed space. This is for both the comfort of the guests with children and others who may be staying as well as for safety reasons, over filling rooms leads to risks of slip, trips and fall accidents as well as issues with evacuating should an emergency arise. If you are not sure which room or combination of rooms to book please give us a ring and we will advise.

Bye flowers - Hello seaside, a fresh look for the first floor.

We are booking up fast for this year's school holidays, give us a ring if you are thinking of a booking a stay. It's currently the off season but we are open for those who enjoy the seaside when it's a little quieter.

The guest house will be closed from 25th February for three weeks whilst we have a new kitchen fitted ready to go again for the Easter period 🙂

Our diary for the 2024 school holidays and for bookings between May and September will be opening on the 2nd January. We are making some changes to the configuration of rooms and we will have to review our prices given the increase in many of the goods and services that we need to run our business. Please phone from January 2nd to discuss the best choice of room for you and to access our best prices available.
