What a fantastic summer we are having. Our guests are keeping us very busy. So busy we have hired an apprentice.

Please meet Kevin. Kevin is still a baby but is working very hard in customer relations and breakfast entertainment. He is doing a fantastic job.

We have had a very busy start to the season. So busy that we have had to hire another team member.

We would like you to meet Sheamus. Sheamus has been visiting Spindrift guest house on and off for the last 18 months. We decided to make him a permanent member of the team. Sheamus will be our head of security.

Scam alert!!!!!

Hi everyone.

A guest has made us aware they have received a WhatsApp messages from a company working on our behalf. This company has asked them to complete a link with payment information.

This is 100% a scam. Spindrift guest house would never send a payment link to a guest.

Booking.com unfortunately have had a data breach. They have not disclosed how many people have been affected but have said they have contacted everyone involved. This is a world wide breach with guests all over the world being affected.

If you have been contacted by a third party on what’s app, please report this to booking.com. There is absolutely nothing we can do to resolve this as the breach is with booking.com. Please don’t just block and ignore.

The travel platform said it had changed Pins to protect customers but would not say how many were affected.

Happy Birthday Spindrift guest house.

Although the guest house has been around for many years, today we are celebrating our first year in business.

When we decided to run the guest house we told ourselves that it would require a lot of hard work, long hours, and that the first year would be the hardest. At the end of our first year, we can honestly say if you find a job you love doing, you will never work a day in your life.
