Lovely weekend stay at Shadow Wood Campsite! With badminton, rock balancing and den building as new ways to entertain yourselves, as well as a mud kitchen, fairy garden and ribbon tree to help keep the kids happy! This truly is a magical place to stay 🏕

Fancy a night away? Or perhaps a gathering with friends and family? Look no further, we still have availability through the summer holidays (sorry not august bank holiday weekend!) and this weekend is still free! Charges are;

• £10 per night for a small pitch (eg tent or caravan)
• £15 per night for large pitch (eg caravan with awning)

We ALSO have the option to book the site out exclusively for your pitch charge PLUS £50; in this case it is as standard £10 per pitch. So for example if you have 5 x tents/caravans (with or without awnings) it would be 5 x £10 PLUS £50 = £100. OR if you use 2 x pitches it would be 2 x £10 plus £50 = £70.

If you are interested in holding an event at Shadow wood campsite it is £65.

The campsite is looking even better this year with more things to entertain the kids and adults alike! We still have availability to anyone who’s interested.

All hands on deck yesterday as we all had a good clear up of Shadow Wood Campsite ready for our first daredevil campers of the year! ⛺️ These were no ordinary campers either; they were taking part in a bivvybag world record attempt and so didn’t even sleep in a proper tent! Huge congratulations to these guys for sticking it out the night and very pleased you chose our site for the occasion. We hope to see you again!

Many congratulations to a wonderful couple who are regular visitors to Shadow Wood. Not only did they get engaged here but came back this week for their wedding. We look forward to welcoming them again next summer for their first anniversary!

We have welcomed both new and returning campers to Shadow Wood Campsite this year and have been asked if the site can be booked out exclusively. After some discussion, we came up with a way to do this.

Our site is a very reasonable £10 per night per pitch. For an additional £50 per night, you will now be able to book the whole campsite and have exclusivity.

So if you want to avoid having others sharing the site (with times currently as they are this can be necessary) it will be the standard rate of £10 per night per pitch plus £50 per night; so for five tents to hire the whole site would be £100 per night. For one caravan to hire the whole site, it would be £60 per night and so on.

Currently we have a maximum of ten campervans/caravans or fifteen tents.
