It is with sadness that the EADCC has decided, due to the economic climate and the decline in attendance, that it will no longer be holding toy fairs.
The East Antrim Diecast & Collectors Club which was formed in 1985 was the first club in Northern Ireland to hold such events, which proved to be a huge success and continued to be for 30 years.
However, the past few years has seen a steady decline in the number of collectors attending the toy fairs.
The members would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal dealers and customers who have supported us over the years.
A special thanks goes to the management and staff of the Sixmile Leisure Centre in Ballyclare for making us so welcome and we couldn’t have wished for a better venue to end with.
Despite the cessation of the toy fairs, the club will continue to meet on the third Wednesday of each month (excluding July) at 8.00pm at the Knockagh Lodge, Greenisland. New members are always welcome to the club.
