We are fundraising all weekend for . This incredible local charity is close to the hearts of the entire Inverclyde community and beyond.

Head out today and across the weekend to help us raise as much as we can to keep this wonderful charity at the heart of our caring community.

Thank you to everyone at Ardgowan Hospice for all that you do: the teams providing direct care to patients and their families, the administrative teams behind the scenes, the volunteers, and the many, many more who play their part in Ardgowan Hospice’s special role in our community.

Here’s to raising all we can, in these hard times and always. Every donation is appreciated.

The Millionaire Handshake 🤝

We have all known it for 20years, but the dedication and delicious baking of amazing Caroline was given a Great British Bake Off seal of approval by the lovely Paul Hollywood - who has been staying with us - he is visiting the area for a very special reason 🫶🏻😬🤫.

He gave her the handshake for her Millionaire Shortbread ‘the ratios were perfect’ luckily we captured the special moment.

Meeting your hero. You deserve this SO MUCH❤️!

Thank you Caroline for being you and always making sure there are exceptional homemade bakes for everyone to enjoy - lucky us!

Thank you to the very special person who recommended him to stay with us🏆 - a total surprise to us when he walked in. The village was alive with chatter.

He also so kindly treated all our locals to some very special drams of wh**ky. Now considered an honorary local 🥃

Looking for a bookclub for Autumn? 🍂

✨Join us in congratulating the wonderful girls of ✨

What a fast year it has been. On 24th September 2025 they held their very first Sold Out bookclub event. Every Month since then they have been growing their amazing community and hosting their monthly sellout bookclub meet.

Their nights are casual, welcoming and great nights to socialise and chat all about the latest book on their read list. They have been known to enjoy a few drinks too!

They are welcoming lots of new faces to join at their next event. If you are thinking about doing something for YOU - this is your sign. Grab a friend or come along a meet some new faces.
