Fancy yerself a day as a swaggerin’ Pirate Captain?

We be lookin’ for hardy volunteers to don their finest finery and lend a hook on our Squirrel Pirate Challenge day on July 4th! Could ye be the Pirate Host we’re huntin’ for?

Ye’ll be leadin’ the scurvy squirrel scouts as they crack the codes, solve the mysteries, and hunt down the buried treasure. And hark! There be whispers that ye might even get to zip and climb through the forest canopy yerself.

Do ye have the heart of a buccaneer? Step forward and join the crew!

WE ARE HIRING!!! JOIN THE TEAM!!!

Bentley Copse Activity Centre Co-ordinator

Surrey Scouts are seeking an organised, proactive and customer focused Centre Co-ordinator to join our professional, friendly and hard-working team at our Bentley Copse Activity Centre near Shere.

This is a full-time key role within the Centre and will take responsibility for managing bookings, delivering excellent customer experience and supporting the day-to-day operational running of the Centre. The successful candidate will often be the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and partner organisations and will help to ensure that every visit to Bentley Copse runs smoothly.
The role works closely with the Centre Manager and wider team and plays an important part in coordinating bookings, staffing support and Centre administration.
In addition to regular duties, the Centre Co-ordinator may be required to assist the Centre team with other tasks associated with managing major events and the general running of the centre.

The role is flexible and is based on 2088 hours per annum which will equate to 40 hours per week and will require occasional weekend and evening work. The ability and willingness to flex hours to cover busy periods (primarily April – July and September-October) will be an advantage but normal working hours will be set between 8 am and 8 pm by agreement with the Centre Manager.
