Come on you National Trust members. Its almost Bluebell Time at Hatchlands Park! Daffodils are everywhere! So it’s the perfect time to get out and about and dust off the winter cobwebs with a walk in our beautiful countryside.
Hatchlands is just a few minutes from us here at The Garden Room so we are ideally located as a base for visiting the area.

The Garden Room B&B at Peaslake now has its own page.
At last after our horribly wet winter it is now beginning to feel a little spring-like in The Surrey Hills. Trees are budding, birds are singing and by the look of the green shoots coming through in abundance there is going to be a mass of bluebells before long.
On Sunday week the 16th March the 5th Surrey Hills 3 Peaks challenge gets under way for all you runners and walkers and with National Trust properties and Wisley RHS Gardens on our doorstep there is loads to see and do in the area.
And if for no other reason, why not come and meet Max who just loves to say hello to our guests.

Located on the River Wey, Guildford is about 8 miles from the Garden Room. The city is attractive with a fair amount of history and riverside walks to explore. There is a very good range of shops, restaurants, nightlife, two theatres and a multiplex cinema. There is also the new G-Live event and concert venue.

The pretty village of Shere is a couple of miles from our B&B. It provides a couple of good pubs, cafe, convenience and speciality shops and is a lovely place to stroll around on a fine day

The historic village of Albury is about three miles from The Garden Room and lies at the foot of Newlands Corner, a popular beauty spot on the North Downs ridge where the North Downs Way long distance path passes on its way from Wi******er to Canterbury.
