What an advert for a visit to !

A stunning day, and absolutely and without doubt my favourite time of the year - the sky is full of swallows, the temperature is perfect, even the beech and ash have leafed, and there are nests everywhere - can't move anything without the risk of disturbing something! Like this huddle of robin chicks beside the stable...

⭐️ A good job for a Friday - just spent the morning sticking our GOLD medals on to a batch of Fidra Gin. We think they look pretty cool and we hope you do too! ⭐️

🌿 These bottles also have our new 100% biodegradable anti-tamper seals on them. Simply dispose of them in your home food caddy or compost heap when you open the bottle.🌿

Normally at this time of year we offer the cottages only by the week, Saturday to Saturday. But unusually we've three nights available for a quick break in The Wee Bothy: from Wednesday 20th to Saturday 23rd May.

There are still some whole weeks available through June, but if you fancy a shorter holiday, do get in touch. The weather has been glorious and it's a fantastic time of year to be in East Lothian!
