Spend a week at Tower Cottage. Visiting cities, countryside, canals and gorgeous West Yorkshire towns.
Day 1: Trip by train to Manchester. Visit the Manchester Art Gallery. Recommendation - Catch food and drinks in the Northern Quarter.
Day 2: Walk on the canal to Todmorden and back. Recommendation - Dinner at the White Lion in Hebden.
Day 3: Take the train to Leeds to shop and look at the stunning Leeds Town Hall. Recommendation - food at the White Cloth Hall and drinks at Headrow House.
Day 4: Go up Wainhouse Tower for the views over the valley. Then explore the woods around the cottage. Recommendation - coffee at the Delhi in Sowerby Bridge and evening meal at Pollinos
Day 5: Trip to Brontë Country. Take the car to Howarth. Walk up to Wuthering Heights to take in the moors then back to the pretty Main Street for tea. Recommendation - top quality food at The Hawthorne
Day 6: Walk from Tower Cottage 8 miles to Hebden bridge for coffee and cake at On the Square. Don’t forget to take a look round all the gorgeous shops. Recommendation - Dragonfly Boutique has the most beautiful clothes.
Day 7: A week in Halifax would not be complete without going to the Piece Hall in town. Look round the gorgeous shops and Georgian Cloth Hall. Recommendation - coffee at The Bakery in the Piece Hall, Drinks at The Meandering Bear and Dinner at Riccis to finish a wonderful week.
