30th May 2018, Friendly welcome with lots of helpful advice about locality, restaurants, etc. Good-sized room, well-equipped and excellent bathroom facilities with fluffy towels. Plenty of tea, coffee with cafetiere and fresh milk from fridge. All replenished for second night

26th March 2018, We stayed for one night stay, on route to Newcastle - this place is really lovely. The standard of cleanliness was excellent, (the ensuite was immaculate) The decor, style and thoughtful extras in our room, would put some 4* hotels to shame! Please don’t be discouraged on arrival ...
