Real ale? Lager? Cider? Something softer?
We’re selling off our excess stock this Sunday.

The White Hart Inn is hibernating for the winter, although we hope be back in the spring. That means we have some surplus stock, which we’ll be selling – at great prices – from 4pm this Sunday.

Whatever your tipple, there’s a good chance we’ve got some spare – real ale, lagers, ciders and a limited range of wines and soft drinks. Just drop in from 4pm onwards and tell us what you need. Or if you’d prefer to collect at a different time, please let us know when is convenient for you.

The White Hart Inn will be closing for the winter.

We are sorry to tell you that we have decided to close The White Hart Inn from 24th October until next spring. Our decision reflects our huge increase in costs – both food and energy – and the downturn in spending as our customers face the challenge of inflation. We are simply unable to operate at a profit, or even close to breakeven, in the current environment.

We are hopeful that the situation will soon resolve, meaning we can re-open at the beginning of March.

Throughout the year, we have been expanding and investing in the business, and we have just installed a brand new (and very expensive!) hospitality IT system. That installation means we will also be closing Saviour Pennies, so if you are a member of the club please make sure you redeem your points before 24th October.

We hope to see you all before we close – and, of course, next year!
