Well what an amazing day we had yesterday, the weather was perfect and the turn out was amazing. Thank you to everyone that came to support us, thank you so much to the fantastic bands that kept everyone entertained, a big thank you to my brother for doing the bbq and feeding everyone, thanks to Adrian next door who put on so many fun things for all the family, thank you so much to everyone who donated amazing prizes for the raffle and to everyone that bought tickets. Huge thank you to the fire brigade for turning up and letting the kids sit in the engine and thank you to everyone that helped on the day. We did not anticipate how successful this day would be 🥳 haven’t worked out exactly how much we raised but it is a LOT of dosh 💰 we are thinking of making it an annual event ❤️

A sneak peak at some of the amazing raffle prizes we have received so far, donated from local businesses and very kind people. Raffle tickets available to buy £1 a ticket or £5 a book. Raffle will be drawn Saturday 22nd here at The Queens. Come and join ourselves and Adrian at the station house for a day of fun to raise money for the local fire brigade

The Queens Hotel and The Station house will be getting together for day of fun and entertainment. From 1pm there will be stalls, a bouncy castle, cream teas, mini train ride and more. Then from 2.30pm The Queens will be hosting a BBQ, live music and a karaoke competition along with a grand raffle. Come and join us for a day of fun to raise money for our local fire brigade

Thank you to everyone that has been patient with us tonight, it’s been a manic evening in this heat!! We are fully booked tomorrow night for food but all welcome for drinks 🍷 🍻

A few weeks ago a lady phoned me to book a table for 8 people for tonight at 6.15, I was happy to take the booking and explained we would need a pre order by the morning of the booking, in which she replied great that’s even better as they want to just eat and then head straight off. Just before 4pm today she turned up with the pre order and said they should be here by 7pm, we explained the booking is for 6.15 as already been told and we wouldn’t be able to accommodate them if they arrived after that as we were fully booked from then. THEY DIDNT TURN UP!! 🤬 so a table of 8 people that had pre ordered didn’t let us know they weren’t coming, we turned other lovely people away due to their booking 😔
Please be aware when booking a large table that it has a massive knock on affect if you don’t turn up! From now on we will be taking a deposit for a group booking, unfortunately some peoples disrespect affects others honestly
