We have a stylish and cosy restaurant a rel

axed and informal bar area with a roaring log fire for the colder months, and our lovely garden at the back with external TVs. Our menus are seasonal and freshly made in our kitchen we pride ourselves in serving the best local produce we can get our hands on, with our menus changing seasonally and dishes freshly prepared daily in our kitchen. Come in and see what specials we will be serving. We’re what you might call a ‘proper pub’ serving a selection of four real ales and craft beers, alongside an extensive gin and spirit list and a range of soft drinks. In the warmer months, the sun terrace is the place to be sit outside and grab a bite to eat with family and friends. We have six boutique bedrooms perfect for a romantic getaway, family break or a handy stop over for that business trip. Nearby, there are great walks we are under half a mile from Rothamsted park, making us the perfect place to enjoy refreshments before or after your walk. 🎶🍻End of Month Garden Party!🍻🎶

As many of you will already know from speaking with our lovely team on the floor or at the bar, we got lots of exciting things planned over the coming months!

To kick things off, we’re bringing you a fantastic end of month event with DJ John joining us and bringing the tunes to keep you up and dancing, enjoying the rays of sunshine and making the most of our beautiful beer garden this summer.

But that’s not all… we’ll also be firing up the BBQ outside in the garden starting at 15:00 and finishing up at 21:00pm, serving up some delicious food while you relax with your favourite drinks and enjoy the atmosphere.

So gather your friends, grab a drink, and join us for a brilliant day of great music, tasty food, and good vibes. We can’t wait to see you there! 🍔🎧🍺
