Our Story

Hello everyone from Simon & Amanda at Baytree House B&B Harrogate!πŸ‘‹

There’s a lot of new people who have discovered our page recently, so we wanted to take this opportunity to introduce or reintroduce ourselves to everyone and to put a face behind our business.

We opened Baytree House in 2006 when we set up the business with Simon's mum Vikki. Although Vikki doesn't work with-in the business anymore she is our chief jam and marmalade maker and they are delicious!

Amanda is a Harrogate girl and Simon moved to Harrogate from Lancashire 23 years ago (he has earned his Yorkshire status now! Although he still rates Lancashire Bury black pudding best). We met 22 years ago and married last year after a VERY long courtship! πŸ˜‰
