Use your imagination in the giant story telling chair. Uncover the fascinating world of nature and experience what life was like in the interactive barn. Studfold fairies and pixies are hiding in their lovely houses throughout the trail, each with a story to tell. Can you unlock the gateway and enter the fairy village of ‘Two Stone Wishes’? Relax and enjoy the views in the fantastic play area, with ride on tractors, go karts, sandpit fun and an adventure trail. Studfold makes a great day out that will challenge and delight families with young children and pre-school and primary school groups. Open from 10.00am – 5.00pm. Last entry 2.00pm. Opens on 27th March 2021 until the last weekend in September – school holidays and weekends; mid-week can be pre-booked by groups. Studfold has been farmed by the Walker family for 16 generations and with their love for the countryside and background in education it is easy to see why and how this unique, quality trail has developed and was awarded the Welcome to Yorkshire, small visitor attraction bronze award in 2020. . 3 new fairy houses magically appear as we launch Studfold’s new summertime adventure.
Ever wondered about the inspiration and love that goes into creating our fairy houses at Studfold?
Most are bespoke to Studfold’s ecological themes and designed/sketched by Anne, (she has that fairy imagination 🤣) and then made by a wonderful, equally bonkers but amazingly talented Dan!

Studfold Fairies look after the amazing countryside in Upper Nidderdale and have many important jobs at Studfold Farm… come and see?

The Summertime Fairy Adventure continues now until we close on the 19th September. There 4 locked gates to crack, 7 Rainbow fairy doors to open and peer inside… of course all the other 30 fairy houses, challenges and normal attractions are throughout the trail… we know you all love the go-karts, den building and ride on tractors/sandpit area.
Don’t forget to order your picnic at the Nidderdale Way Cafe on your arrival too.

A big thank you from all the Studfold Team for those adventurers that came and embraced the Teddy Bears Picnic 🧸
We have loved every minute. Seen lots of your cuddly friends and those that dressed up made us smile.
Over 200 teddy bears have gone into hibernation ready to have fun again in 2027!
The Summertime Fairy Adventure event starts next weekend. More details to follow this week.
