Great news!! We are good to go....
we are re-opening our doors this weekend, Sunday 5th July.

The last few months have been difficult for all of us but we hope you, your friends and family have kept safe and well?

We are Covid-19 safety standard accredited by visit to Britain and Welcome to Yorkshire. The health, safety and well being of our guests and the Ascot team is our priority.

The Ascot family have been very busy to make ensure you have a safe but enjoyable 'home from home' stay with us and have been busy planning our re-opening.

We hope to welcome you with a 'warm Yorkshire', 'honest' hospitality, heart warming food and a sincere smile and 'thank you' for choosing Ascot House for your 'home away from home'.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Update 23 March 2020
Following the rising incidence of COVID-19 cases throughout the UK and the government's most recent announcement regarding social distancing, we need to do our upmost to protect the health and wellbeing of both our wonderful guests and team. In light of this, it is with a heavy heart, we have sadly had to temporarily close the hotel effective as of mid-day 24th March 2020 until further notice.
We find ourselves in unprecedented territory but we must all follow the advice of the Government and World Health Organisation to help prevent the spread of the virus.
If you have a booking with us in the next four weeks, we will be contacting you directly via email. Our cancellation policy has been amended in light of the situation and it is detailed below. The best way to contact us regarding your booking is to email [email protected] and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as we can
We will continue to communicate using social media/website/email so please make sure you are following us.
In the meantime, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the guests, friends and family of Ascot House for being so understanding. And ‘thank you’ for your continued loyalty.
We wish you the very best of health and will be back in touch in the near future to inform you of when we will re-open.
We look forward to offering you a warm Yorkshire welcome in the not too distant future.

CANCELLATIONS
For existing bookings taking place between now and the end of April, we can transfer your reservation to another date of your choosing, along with any pre-payments held as credit. We simply ask that you contact us within 6 months with new dates.
We will review bookings from 1st May onwards in due course…

Good afternoon,
Following the evolving situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we will update this page to let you know what we are doing to support you and your travel plans. As the situation continues to evolve, we will always ensure your safety and provide flexibility. We really appreciate guests understanding as we move forward.
At the time of writing, we’re working hard to ‘carry on as normal as possible’. We’re a small, family-run business where every member of staff and guests alike is classed as ‘one of the Ascot family’
We continue to provide the highest cleaning and hygiene standards, regardless of the situation
Our food and beverage services are constantly being adjusted in accordance with current food safety recommendations and our deep cleaning regimes have increased through all areas within the hotel.
Hotel Bookings
Any guest making a new hotel reservation between today and 31st May 2020 will be allowed to make one reservation amendment free of charge for any future date booked until 31st December 2020, subject to availability.
We hope there are still people who will need a warm Yorkshire welcome, comfy bed and fantastic breakfast (if preferred we can deliver food and beverage to your bedroom door; no Deliveroo charges apply!)
