Cheristow Meat Box, Hartland - now available to order 10kg Prime Devon Beef from our grass fed organically reared cattle.

NO ANTIBIOTICS, NO GRAIN, NO NASTIES.

Just naturally raised in our lovely herbal leys which are alive with the sounds of cows mooing, insects buzzing and birds singing.

£140 for 10kg collection, or plus £10 nationwide delivery charge.
£75 for 5kg collection, or plus £10 nationwide delivery charge.

Boxes contain a selection of steaks, mince, stewing beef and joints.

Higher Cheristow campsite is an ADULT ONLY site in a quiet, secluded location on a working beef farm, accessed by traditional Devon lanes. Prior booking ESSENTIAL.

There is a gently sloping grassy field with wonderful views of the countryside, which is perfect for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Adjacent there is a sheltered wooded area for tents.

There is basic but functional shower and toilet block. Please bring a torch as there is no street lighting.

The site is perfect for no frills, back to nature camping. We welcome guests who want to get away from the city and chillout with their guitar or surf board. Limited firepits are available to hire.

Dogs are welcome but are limited to 2 per pitch. Dogs must be supervised and kept on a lead at all times. There are lots of walks nearby, but there is not a designated dog walking area on the farm.

The nearest village is 2 miles away, and boasts pubs serving food, a post office and village shop. The South West Coastal Path with magnificent rolling countryside and fantastic sea views is about 25 minutes walk away. 2021 tariff: GBP9pppn. Dogs: GBP1eachpn. EHU GBP3.50pn.
