Hastings Tap Takeover is almost upon us!

Our opening hours will be 12 - 11 Fri & Sat, 12 - 10.30 Sun.

We will be pouring a lovely selection from Duration, who hail from Norfolk.

"Fresh Beers and Wile Ales brewed from nature with purpose. A destination farmhouse brewery in a medieval barn at Abbey Farm, West Acre Norfolk making beers that belong to showcase how beautifully brewing and agriculture can exist in tandem. Bates a South Carolinian brewer, former head brewer at Brew By Numbers has opened a high end facility with wood division in a medieval stone barn at West Acre Priory. Following two years of collaborative and nomadically brewed releases Duration is a modern brewery with a strong sense of history, place and time."

As an antidote to all the abstinence and restraint that is such a feature of this month, may I recommend some excess? Project Excess that is, a celebration of "silly ramped-up beer", bought to you from Emperor's, Baron, Pastore and Rivington, and courtesy of Distant Lands who devised the whole bally thing.

Thursday 23rd of January, the silliness will commence.

Many alcohol free beers will be available too, obviously. For those who aren't quite ready for fun yet.
