We spent the day at with Sara from the events team and what a place 🌳

The Old Palace, the gardens, The Stable Yard, The Coach House Kitchen, The Oak House Studio… and yes, the ice cream.

Hatfield Park is just five minutes from The Comet and it’s the perfect way to spend a day when you’re staying with us.

Meet in a room with a story. ✈️

The Havilland is named in honour of Sir Geoffrey de Havilland, the visionary engineer whose aircraft company shaped Hatfield’s history. The original Comet Hotel opened in 1936 to serve the aviation community that called this town home, and the building itself was designed around the footprint of the de Havilland DH.88 racing plane.

Today, The Havilland meeting room seats up to 16 in a boardroom setting, complete with natural daylight, built-in AV, free Wi-Fi and free parking for all delegates.
