Festival season has started in the Peak District. 🥳

Around the Peak District, village communities come together and enjoy live music, tasty food and create amazing festivals. 😆

In Hathersage it is known as Gala. A week full of silly games such as the traditional wheelbarrow race and sports, like the challenging fell race. All ended with a big parade of people from the village dressed up and a carnival at the football field. 🍺

If you are in the Peak District, keep an eye out for loud music and a big crowd, as there may be a village festival happening. 😁

Happy Fathers Day!

We hope everyone is enjoying their Fathers Day. No matter where you may be, whether it is with your family or miles away, make sure you wish your dad a happy Fathers Day. 😆

We are also thinking about those who can't spend today with their fathers, for whatever the reason may be.🫶
