A night out in Pembrokeshire can often look like this...

Who saw the solar eclipse last night? Or the meteor shower?! 🌘💫 Not gonna lie, we thought it would be darker here at peak eclipse!

Pembrokeshire puts on amazing light displays often. Last month, me and some friends walked the coast path from Newgale to Nolton Haven for a proper catch-up. There weren't the crowds of people like there were last night. No masses of abandoned cars to navigate.

We jumped in for a swim at Nolton Haven to cool down then wandered back to Newgale as the sun went down. Glorious.

Do you remember your family holidays as a kid?

Playing in streams, getting muddy, pointless walks, making friends with other families on the beach for days? (Looking at you millennials and gen X!)

Over the years we've had families come back to us year after year. There's something very special about that. We feel very privileged that families enjoy themselves at our properties so much that they want to come back. We never take it for granted. We want to live up to those memories.

A family checked in this week who've done exactly that for six years and they told us a bit of what these weeks have meant to them as a family. It's been going around in my head the last few days.

It also sent me somewhere else, back to my own childhood summers and holidays with friends and family. I've got quite reflective about it all.

The families make the memories. We just try to hold the space and the setting for that to happen. So they can come back, for as long as they need to.

We will continue to feel thankful that we've been able to be part of it.

The best thing this year has probably been the feedback from our guests. Both new and returning guests have taken time out to share their thoughts of our holiday cottages and the service we provide and it's just made us 😍🎉🥰🥳🥹☺️

We're excited for the next six months starting with our summer adventures exploring across Pembrokeshire!

Here's a little bit about how and why we started Nolton Haven Mill.

We've felt the difference when a hotel, B&B or guesthouse did that little bit extra for us, and we've felt the difference when they didn't. Even before we had kids, those small touches could turn a trip into something epic we still talk about now.

So when it came to building our own place, we knew exactly what we wanted to get right. Swipe through for our story!
