Perfect for families, with sheltered perimeter pitches, most with 10amp electric hook-ups, and with the area in front left free, which means there’s lots of space to play. Facilities include spotlessly clean family shower

rooms, toilet blocks and laundry room. Calor gas available on site. Situated just 2 miles from St Davids with its magnificent cathedral, and within easy reach of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and fine sandy beaches. Message for more information or to check availability.

A frequent question this week has been ‘will we be able to see the solar eclipse on site?’ so we thought we would show you the sun position at 7.15pm this evening which is when the maximum coverage of the sun is due tomorrow. Now all you need is a comfy chair, those special glasses and enjoy 😊
Then after dark why not grab a hot chocolate and a warm blanket and sit and enjoy the peak of the perseid meteor shower..this has been pretty spectacular the last few nights so hopefully will put on a good show 🤞🏻and with rumours of possible northern lights..tomorrow could be an incredible night!!

This is a photograph taken at Hendre Eynon of a partial eclipse of the sun in March 2015. Next week on Wednesday 12th August we will witness an even more spectacular partial eclipse with about 94% of the sun eclipsed by the moon. The forecast is looking good so fingers crossed for clear skies.

Don’t forget though…If you’re planning to watch the eclipse, remember never to look directly at the Sun without certified solar viewing glasses or approved solar filters. Ordinary sunglasses are not safe for eclipse viewing. Let’s stay safe 😎
