🌿 Making Space for Nature at Newgale Lodge 🌿
If you’ve visited us lately, you might have noticed some areas of our grounds looking a little "wilder" than usual. We aren’t just forgetting to mow—we’re re-wilding! 🐝✨

We are passionate about preserving the stunning Pembrokeshire landscape, and that starts right here in our own garden. By letting the grass grow and creating dedicated re-wilding zones, we are helping to tackle some pretty serious statistics:

📉 Did you know? Woodland bird populations (including our local sparrows and starlings) saw a staggering 59% decrease between 2015 and 2020. 🐦

Why the long grass? 🌾
It’s about more than just aesthetics! Our re-wilding areas provide:

🏠 Habitats for bees, ladybirds, and vital pollinators.

🌼 Room for native wildflowers to bloom and thrive.
