We are now a dog friendly accommodation.

This is a dog friendly Hostel.
With a few rules!
* Only 2 dogs per night can stay in the Hostel.
* Dogs must be kept under control at all times.
* No dogs in dining area or self catering kitchen.
* No dogs on furniture please.
* No dogs on beds please.
* Dogs bark, mine definitely does. But if he or she is barking excessively, please take outside and away from other guests.
* Apart from that, looking forward to sharing some time with you and your dog.
* There is no surcharge for dogs but we do reserve the right to charge for any damage or additional cleaning.

Hello Everyone

First of all, grateful thanks for the many PW walkers we get passing through our Hostel. We’re fiercely independent but great supporters of YHA, especially grateful for their booking service. We plan to keep the hostelling dream alive despite so many recent and future closures in other areas.

This post is a reminder that we are DOG FRIENDLY if using our reasonably large camping area.
Coming soon, an announcement on a couple of dog friendly rooms too. We’re just working out the logistics.

I’d welcome your views. Every accommodation around here is dog friendly except us. I’m presuming most guests would be fine but interested to know if any one would avoid a hostel because of dogs?

Beautiful walks, including The Pennine Way on our doorstep as well as cycling routes and amazing places for the explorer to visit.
